About Taung Heritage Voices
Taung Heritage Voices is a community storytelling initiative that captures the spirit of Taung through the voices of its people.
In early 2026, local elders, musicians, artisans, and residents shared their memories, songs, and life experiences. These stories were recorded, edited, and preserved as a digital archive for future generations.
The project celebrates Taung’s cultural identity — not as a performance, but as a living heritage passed down through everyday life.
All materials are shared with permission and respect.
